Alexander holds a BComm title from The University of British Columbia in Canada. After completing his studies which also included biology, he spent 2 years working for Kennet Partners, a private equity fund focused on new technologies, based in London and Silicon Valley. He is a shareholder and Director in the main holding company in the Fuglesangs Group (est 1855), the former CEO of Fuglesangs AS and enjoys working with talented people in bringing new technologies to market.
Alexander has been working with pump solutions since childhood, of which the past 10 years have been full time and with considerable energy and passion.
Solfrid holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Ålesund University College, specializing in construction. She has several courses within Management, QHSE and risk management.
Solfrid has 23 years of experience from Pon Power, with experience from Project Engineering, Sales & Contracts, Supply Chain and QHSE. She has worked for Jotne Industrier building up their QHSE management system. She has extensive experience in business development within a growing organization. Solfrid has a long experience in fulfilling high demands within QHSE from the offshore and maritime industry.
Solfrid combines her operational experience with a pragmatic approach to develop and maintain a suitable management system for FSubsea.
Solfrid joined the company in December 2016.
Tommy holds a MSc. in Physics from Karlstad University in Sweden. His background includes both in-depth studies of fluid and heat transfer, practical experience from being an industrial electrician and significant experience from working more than 6 years at a senior level on subsea multiphase booster pump development projects for Aker Subsea and FMC Technologies.
Tommy also strenghtens the team with his academic record, which includes hydraulic pump design, stationary and transient fluid simulations, as well as hot-spot prediction in subsea electric motors.
He brings subsea pumping experience, energy, and engineering discipline to our team.
Tommy joined the company in March 2014.
Christian holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Linköping in Sweden. After graduation, he joined Volvo Aero’s trainee program where he started his technical career through building his competence across diverse and complex engineering projects. The continuation in Volvo Aero’s Aerothermodynamic department provided him with a deep understanding of the complexity of rotating machinery. Christian joined Aker Solutions Subsea Pump System department in 2010. He has worked with development and engineering of subsea processing and boosting equipment, as an analysis engineer, concept architect, and Technology Qualification Program manager of a new, gas tolerant, subsea pump technology.
His experience as TQP manager gave him the opportunity to follow, and learn from, the complete process of subsea pump technology development, from idea to TRL 4.
Christian joined the company in January 2017.
Terje holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering within Thermal Energy and Hydro Power from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway.
Terje is an experienced subsea pump expert with wide experience from development, design manufacturing and testing of subsea boosting system. His background is from mechanical engineering but he has a multi-disciplinary knowledge about subsea boosting systems. Terje is skilled in pumps, system engineering, system testing, product development and process control.
Terje has for several years led the development and integration of subsea boosting systems. Terje brought more than 20 years’ experience of working in leading technical roles of the two main global vendors of subsea boosting systems, (Framo Engineering (now OneSubsea) and Technip FMC.
Terje joined the company in 2018.
Marius holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Product Design from Vestfold University College and a M.Sc. in Product Development and Materials Engineering from NTNU, Norway, with main focus on product development and robust materials. He has undertaken several fluid mechanics- and turbomachinery courses. His expertise includes 3D design, systematic product development, structural calculations and simulations.
He has been involved in testing of the world’s first magnetic coupling driven subsea pump at Fsubsea.
His main responsibilities involve materials engineering, design and mechanical analyzes.
Marius engineering skills, positive attitude, accuracy and meticulousness lifts our projects to new levels.
He has held summer internships with FSubsea during his studies, and joined permanently in August 2014.
Simen holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, specializing in applied mechanics and computational fluid dynamics.
He has worked with centrifugal pumps and project execution in various roles. His experience includes 3D modelling/2D drawing, FEA, and CFD analysis. In 2011 he joined Eureka Pumps as a design engineer working on international CAPEX projects. In 2013 he became the Department Manager for Pump Design, overseeing project execution from the Oslo office and Eureka’s engineering office in Bosnia & Herzegovina. As a manager, he worked on increasing efficiency of the engineering processes.
He has a professional working attitude with the ability to focus on details while still seeing the big picture.
Simen joined the company in March 2017.
Gina has a B. Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Queretaro, Mexico. She has worked in supply chain since 2007. She started within electrical manufacturing where she had opportunity to learn the basics of procurement and negotiations with commodity items such as brass, steel and plastic resins.
In 2012 she moved to Norway, and continued her career in the Oil and Gas business as a Buyer of Forgings and Clamp Connectors for Aker Solutions. She was part of Subsea Tie-In and Structures where she worked with projects such as Kaombo and Aasta Hansteen.
Enjoys both the commercial and the technical part of procurement. She believes that buyers build bridges among disciplines and that open communication is the biggest strength to get successful results.
Gina joined the company in April 2017.
Thomas holds a Bachelor in European Economics/Social Science form London Metropolitan University and 10 years exposure in the Oil and Gas Industry in a variety of roles.
He is an experienced Project Planner professional. Over the last 7 years he has been responsible for planning and monitoring executions on a variety of Subsea Pumps R&D and delivery type projects in Aker Solutions.
Thomas has a strong commercial, operational, technical and methodological mind-set.
Possess advanced analytical skills and take proactive responsibility for ensuring all internal and external processes are under control.
Strongly advocate hands on management and open and direct dialogue as drivers towards Lean execution and team motivation.
Thomas joined the company in February 2017
Hein holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Fontys Hogescholen in Eindhoven (NL).
His background includes 10 years’ experience from Eureka Pumps within topside oil and gas pumps. He has experience with design, project management, testing, sales and after marked for pump related projects. Further has he 2 years’ experience from Roxar where he worked as a design engineer on subsea sensors.
Hein is result oriented and won’t give in until the job is done. His interest in mechanics is reflected in his basement workshop where he has a mill, lathe and welding equipment. Here he builds amongst others model engines.
He joined the company in October 2017.
Christian holds a M. Sc. in Energy and Environment from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, specializing in heat and energy processes and rotating machinery.
After graduation, he joined the Subsea Pump System department in Aker Solutions, working as a Product Engineer for a multiphase pump development project.
The work experience includes prototype pump testing, computational fluid dynamics, multiphase impeller and diffuser design, and subsea pump condition monitoring development.
Christian joined the company in November 2016.
Erlend holds a MSc. in engineering cybernetics from NTNU, Norway.
His background includes subsea boosting projects from Aker Subsea, developing inertially stabilized sensor platforms and oil spill detection systems for Aptomar and extensive product & service development and operational experience from managed pressure drilling operations as a Control System Manager for Enhanced Drilling.
Erlend have an intimate knowledge of automation and control systems, both using commercially available systems in novel applications and developing custom embedded solutions. He has hands on experience with technology qualification processes. Through experience with small and fast growing companies with a desire to make a mark on the world he has learned the necessity of an agile mindset.
Erlend joined the company in May 2017.
Thomas is a Qualified Technician from Horten Technical University. He has several years experience as process operator and CNC operator, followed by more than 8 years of engineering and 3D design work with tools such as Solidworks.
Thomas has been a key player in the development in our excisting product portfolio. He was involved in design production and testing.
He continues to amaze his colleagues with his experience and abilities in regards to design and construction of a variety of solutions, such as structures, adapters, pumps and other rotating and static components.
Thomas joined Fuglesangs in the summer of 2012 and has been a part of Fuglesangs Subsea since the start of the company in 2013.
Knut holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kongsberg, Norway. He gained 5 years of project management, technical and commercial experience within subsea applications during his tenure at Corrocean, which was bought by Roxar and is now part of Emerson. Knut has been involved in several projects working with FMC and other subsea players, and has experience in qualifying and testing products such as injection valves for subsea use.
His positive and solution oriented nature ensures that the job gets done.
Knut has been involved in our R&D activities for the excisting product portfolio. he is currently handling sales and project management for dredging, drilling and excavation.
Knut joined Fuglesangs in the fall of 2011 and has been a part of Fuglesangs Subsea since the start of the company in 2013.
Bjarne holds a MSc. in mechanical engineering from NTNU specializing in structural calculations and FEM. Bjarne also holds a master in Product Design from HiAk with an emphasis on concept development.
He has 8 years of experience from Aker Solutions’ subsea pumps division of which he was design office lead for 5 years. Bjarne has for the most part worked on R&D projects and has an extensive knowledge of the design process in subsea, from concept drawings and strength calculations to production drawings, specifications and assembly assistance.
Bjarne’s dedication as a professional is to see ideas molded into working hardware. He firmly believes that all engineering feats starts with a positive working relationship between colleagues.
Bjarne joined the company in February 2016.
Steinar holds a Bachelor of Sc. in mechanical engineering, and education in both tool making and car mechanics.
Steinar is our most senior designer with almost 30 years’ experience in design work using Autocad/Solidworks. He has been working in the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry since 1997, working as a consultant (on behalf of EPB Consultants and Jotne E&P) for major contractors in Norway like Kværner and Aker. He has worked with mechanical constructions, both topside and subside on projects like Åsgård, Njord, Vigdis and Troll C.
Steinars broad experience from both engineering and production is a great asset to our team.
Steinar joined the company in August 2017 as a hired in resource and became a permanent member of our team in 2018.
Tommy holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Oslo University College specializing in construction.
His background includes 10 years of versatile experience within Subsea oil and gas industry within project execution, testing and offshore operation of subsea process, boosting, production and well intervention systems at Aker Subsea and FMC Technologies.
During his time in FMC Technologies he mainly worked as test manager and technical lead within subsea process systems and subsea boosting qualification projects.
He has methodical mind set, is focused on seeing the big picture and always looking forward to identifying challenges ahead.
Tommy joined the company in August 2016.
Trond is educated as a flight technician, with 7 years’ experience working with helicopters (Super Puma).
After working as a flight technician, he started to work as a ROV pilot for Oceaneering Norway. Trond also have experience as a project engineer at Kongsberg Oil and Gas technologies, working with ROV tie-in tooling.
Trond has an interdisciplinary competence; mechanical, hydraulics, electro etc. Trond’s experience from the aircraft industry have given him a high focus on documentation, HSE and quality which he brings into our workshop activities like assembly and testing.
Trond joined the company in January 2018.
