Hans Peter holds a MBA degree from Amos Tuck School of business Administration at Darthmouth College in Hanover New Hampshire, USA. After his US education he worked with ALCOA (Aluminum Company of America) for 3 years before starting in the Fuglesangs Group. Here Hans Peter managed Fuglesangs AS for 40 years before handing the helm over to his son Alexander, the 5th generation Fuglesang.

Today Hans Peter is the Chairman of the Board of G. R. Fuglesangs Sønner AS, Fuglesangs AS, Fuglesangs Subsea AS, FMS AS and Fuglesangs UK. In addition to working with the Fuglesangs Companies Hans Peter has had numerous Board positions in small and large corporations.
